Dan Schafer and was born in February 1977. He
grew up hunting and fishing every chance he had with
his older brother and family. He started deer hunting
in WI at the age of 12 and bow hunting at age 14. In
1999, he met his wonderful wife Jill, and just last
year, brought their son Wyatt into their lives. In 2001
Dan and Jill decided to make a major change and
move to Canada. And a year later they took over a
resort and fulfilled a dream of owning a Canadian
bear hunting and fishing resort. It was then that Dan
and Jill started to get serious about trophy deer
hunting. Since then they have taken several very
respectable bucks. Whether it's finding hundreds of
shed antlers in the spring or hunting the remote "Big
Woods" of the North, their unique style is sure to add
another dimension to Rut Junkie.
